This year has been really beneficial for me as a student, and someone wanting to practice illustration. I feel throughout the modules, I have been really versatile, experimenting in a massive range of styles and medias, really trying to figure out what kind of work I want to make. At the start of the year, my main reoccurring criticism was that I wasn't investing enough of myself into my work, which looking back I can see very clearly. I think that my ever-improving time management skills has aided this a lot, as I am putting aside a lot more time for work, which regrettably I did not.
After this year I feel that I have developed so much, since before I started the course. I have gained a greater understanding of what Illustration actually is (with help from PPP), and started to surround myself with it a lot more. Initially I was a bit concerned as to the suitability of this course for my personal progression, however right now I can happily say that I am rapidly gaining a passion for Illustration which I hope is shown through my recent submissions.
