Illustrated Self: Development Work

After the tutorial, I opened up my sketchbook again and began stripping back my ideas to the essential aspects needed in order to communicate and work as icons. 

Because of the nature of icons and how I was going to create them digitally (how generic can you get), I still wanted to inject some of my personality and tone of voice into it. To do so, I want my icons to look really authentic and twee, using shape and texture.
